Adele

British singer Adele has only two albums under her belt, but it’s clear to critics and fans alike that this talent has a long and illustrious music career ahead of her. Her debut '19', recorded when she was, yes, just 19, bowed at the top of the U.K. charts in 2008 and went four times platinum. She won the 2009 Grammy Award for Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

Adele’s 2011 follow-up '21' (again named for her age while working on it) spent 11 weeks at number one in the U.K., breaking a record for female solo artists. The singer-songwriter showcased her powerhouse soul vocals with a performance of 'Someone Like You' at the 2011 MTV VMAs, as well as collecting three VMAs for 'Rolling in the Deep.'

Adele is an artist with staying power—we wouldn’t be surprised to see future generations of music lovers grooving to an album called '65.'
