Justice
Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay are Justice, a French electronic dance duo. They first gained notice for crafting remixes for fellow French artists as well as international acts. The band released their first album, † (a.k.a. Cross), in 2007.
Justice won the Best Video EMA in 2006 for their remix of Simian’s ‘We Are Your Friends.’ They went on to win the Video Star EMA in 2007 for the video for the infectiously catchy single ‘D.A.N.C.E.’, as well as taking home the award for Best French Act. ‘D.A.N.C.E.’ was also nominated for the 2007 MTV VMA for Video of the Year, and the 2008 Grammy Awards for Best Short Form Video and Best Dance Recording; their album was nominated for Best Electronic/Dance Album. In 2009, they won the Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical. The band’s second album, Audio, Video, Disco, arrives on 25th October 2011.
