Kings of Leon
Consisting of Tennessee-bred brothers Caleb, Nathan, and Jared, and their cousin Matthew, Kings of Leon mingle a range of influences, from Southern rock and blues to post-punk to gospel, on their fifth and latest album, Come Around Sundown. The alt-rockers formed their group back in 1999 and released their first album in 2003, but they really broke into the mainstream with their 2008 album Only By the Night, which entered the UK Album Charts at #1, went platinum, and won them four Grammy awards.
Kings of Leon released Come Around Sundown in October 2010; it has been certified platinum in four countries and in Europe, and gold in the U.S. and U.K. The band performed their single ‘Radioactive’ at the 2010 EMAs.
